Review: Savory Saltine seasoning

Our famous saltine seasoning came about as a labor of love from our employees. By taking a family recipe and adding new ingredients, they created the ultimate flavor for a party cracker. They are super "savory" and have just enough kick to make them zing. That's how the name came about.

 Christina's voice:
The orginal savory saltine seasoning was really easy to use with no mess or bake. You can smell the seasnoing through the packaging, which was a good thing because the smell alone made my mouth water. I couldn't wait to get started so i read the directions and used regular crackers to get started. My daughter and I loved them. We had them with some tomato soup, was very delicious lunch.

To make 4 Tubes of Crackers:
1 pkg. Original Savory Saltine Seasoning (Available at Adrians)
1 3/4 cups Canola Oil
4 tubes Premium Brand Saltine Crackers (these really are the best!)

Add contents of seasoning package to 1 3/4 c. canola oil in a 2 gallon zip lock bag and mix well.  Add four tubes of Premium Saltine crackers. Seal bag with lots of air in it.  Toss crackers in bag every 5 minutes or so until seasoning is absorbed.  Let crackers rest at least 4 hours (better overnight) for best taste, but you can sneak a few early! :-)  Refrigeration or freezing extends flavor.
To make 1 tube of crackers:
Add 5 tsp. of seasoning mix to a scant 1/2 cup of canola oil in a 1 gallon zip lock bag.  Add one tube of crackers and follow above instructions.
